Sodium Carboxymethyl Starch (CMS) is an anionic polymer material, appearing as a white to light yellow solid powder. It is odorless and easily absorbs moisture, but dissolves directly in water to form a solution with excellent viscosity, stability, protective colloid and film-forming properties.
CMS is stable under strong alkali and weak acid conditions, and does not easily decompose or deteriorate. It is a cost-effective and versatile thickener, suspending agent and stabilizer widely used in many industries.
High Viscosity Thick but not sticky, dilute but not scattered; stable solution viscosity. | Chemical Resistance Resistant to acid, alkali and salt; no coloring, high transparency. | Fast & Safe Rapid dissolving, non-toxic, odorless and safe for food and daily use. |
