Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic cellulose ether, appearing as a white to off-white powder. It provides a wide range of functions including thickening, binding, film-forming, surface activity, protective colloid, lubrication, emulsification, suspension and water retention.
In addition, this product features thermal gelation, metabolic inertness, enzyme resistance, low odor and taste, and pH stability. Thanks to its versatile properties, HPMC can be used at low concentrations to replace other additives, offering excellent efficiency in adhesives, construction, food, household products and pharmaceutical industries.
